THE GLOW GIRLS PROJECT: EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION OF WOMEN
At TGNC (Nutrition Professionals Network Initiative LTD/GTE), we believe every girl deserves the knowledge, confidence, and support she needs to thrive. Too many young girls grow up learning silence over self-awarenessโtaught discipline, chores, and obedience, but not how to truly understand their bodies, their health, or their worth.
The Glow Girls Project was born to change this narrative.
To educate, empower, and inspire girls and young women to live healthy, confident, and purpose-driven lives through:
Practical health education (nutrition, menstrual health, and body literacy)
Confidence-building programs (self-esteem, mental health awareness, and career guidance)
Access to menstrual hygiene products through our Pad A Girl Campaign
Community-driven conversations that address myths, stigmas, and challenges around womanhood
We are raising a generation of health-literate, confident girls who will grow into women who transform their families, communities, and nations.
๐ก School & Community Programs
We visit schools, underserved communities, and safe spaces to teach girls about their health in a fun, relatable, and impactful way.
๐ก The Pad A Girl Campaign
Every girl deserves dignity during her period. We provide free sanitary products and education on menstrual hygiene.
๐ก Glow Girls Club
A growing community of girls and young women where they can ask questions, find mentorship, and feel supported on their journey into adulthood.
๐ก Nutrition & Wellness Sessions
We teach healthy eating on a budget, debunk body image myths, and promote self-love through practical, culturally relevant guidance.
๐ก Collaborative Outreach Initiatives
We work with schools, NGOs, and corporate partners to scale impactโbecause every girl matters.
At our Healthy Present, Thriving Future Girlsโ Conference in Ibadan, we met dozens of young girls who walked away with practical knowledge and life-changing health insights. Some discovered they had high blood pressure for the first time; others learned how nutrition impacts their mood, confidence, and growth.
This confirmed our belief:
๐ Access to knowledge saves lives.
๐ Girls thrive when they feel seen, heard, and equipped.
Empower 1,000 girls with menstrual health and nutrition education
Distribute 5,000 sanitary pads through the Pad A Girl Campaign
Launch Glow Girls Clubs in at least 10 secondary schools
Create safe spaces where girls can talk openly about health, body image, and future goals
